Spears 1818 Dulcimer

Lee Spears is a legendary dulcimer maker (and player) from North Carolina.
We are fortunate to have this instrument come our way. This dulcimer was put away for nearly 25 years, and
remains in almost pristine condition, including the wonderful hard shell case. It has plenty of volume, with a
punchy, relatively low-sustain sound. It responds vibrantly to even the lightest touch.
It has a black finished arch-top spruce soundboard with beautiful hand-crafted soundhole inlays. The
pinblocks and endrails are flawlessly dovetailed. The craftsmanship is evident everywhere on this beauty.
Each of Lee's instruments, (when you can find them) is a truly one-of-a-kind creation.

I am thinking that the person who will be most interested in this professional-level instrument will be
someone familiar enough with Lee's instruments to know what a great find this is!
